PRODUCTION MANAGER PORT PERRY
Duties & Responisibilities
- Manage department Lead Hands
- Coordinate all departments to a common production output
- Responsible for overall efficiency and quality of product manufacturing cycle
- Report on equipment maintenance and calibration requirements
- Manage a team of ERP Specialists including Purchasers, Schedulers
- Experienced working in a build to order environment
- Support new product development DFM process from prototype to full production status
- Participate in supply chain management initiatives
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards
- Comply with Environmental Health and Safety standard
- Lead and participate in problem-solving and risk assessment
- Equipment utilization and expansion planning
- Staff and team optimisation
- Manage process audits and KPIs

The successful candidate will develop, structure and lead assembly operations, and manage all aspects of assembly teams, processes, and manufacturing areas within the relevant departments. The successful Production Manager will have extensive experience managing within a discrete manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor or Diploma in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering or related field
- Preference will be shown to those with an MBA
- 7 Years experience in Discrete Manufacturing, including part production and/or final product assembly
- Experienced in managing workflow scheduling in an ERP environment
- Experience in managing a team of more than fifty (50) workers
